Is it possible to use AMP connectors to make the ergodox PCB hotswappable?

Do you mean Holtites? I think someone on /r/mk tried those and they didn't fit.

Yep. The holtites fall through because of the irregular-shaped holes.

Am I correct in assuming that I could possibly still use holtites for the LED's? It would be pretty convenient to be able to swap out colors since the board isn't RGB capable (from what I currently know, at least.) I'm fine with permanent switch install, but changing the color of the lighting relatively easily would be a bonus if there wasn't too much fear of lifting a pad or 20.

Now that I decided to chide myself by thinking, "did you do a SEARCH yet?" and realizing that it was a "no...", I came across the idea to use SIP sockets instead of holtites, which seems like it might be a better idea than risking damage to the pcb pads.

Will do more research, but this seems to be the way to go for convenient LED changes for right now, unless I am missing something crucial.
