Hello, I'm currently designing my keyboard layout and stubled upon one obstacle: I am using Dvorak and a little bit displeased with Hotkeys in most programs and browsers, so I decided to make one layer that toggles with one key on the thumb pad on which I have all the important keys like Ctrl+T (new tab) etc. are arranged in a friendlier position. The problem is that i can't use a modifier like Control and Alt when only using one hand (which is the sole purpose of this idea). The only solution i found is using 'Push Layer' instead of 'Toggle', but I don't like the solution.
Is there currently a way to bind multiple Keys to one key? Are software / layout-editor changes coming with the ergo dox infinite?
A quick sketch of my idea (please don't mind me being left handed). When '~L1' is pressed all keys on layer 1 should be executed with the modifier Strg.

HuskyE57This will use KLL, and from what I have read in the spec file for it, you could set a single key press to be Ctrl-T, or even a full key sequence. Fully customizeable and macroable. If you go to kiibohd.com there is a link on the front page to the latest KLL spec

VilhjalmrYup. You can have it do as many keys as you want, essentially, either simultaneously or in sequence.

Victor_LIs it possible to do it with the configurator though?
Since i use linux i have just configured my hotkey daemon to accomplish this, but if it's available straight from the configurator without any hassle that would be even better.

zenolijoIt's not possible to do straight from the configurator, unfortunately. If you're comfortable compiling software though, KLL and the firmware building tools are pretty straightforward to work with.

Victor_LThe configurator hasn’t even been released yet.

ArnoNymI'm assuming it's gonna use http://configurator.input.club but I could well be wrong.

Victor_LI hadn't heard of this thing before... where'd it come from? who made it? when will it work properly?
This isn't the massdrop-created one, right?
EDIT: Nevermind, found the github repo... very cool. Looks like the software side of the infinities is finally getting some love.
