I hope beta testing is done before it gets shipped. I'm was in the thought that once it's delivered it would be ready to work flawlessly.
If you are imagining this thing working like an off the shelf, commercial keyboard, you are probably going to be disappointed.
This is a keyboard kit that requires you to assemble it yourself and will likely require you to do your own modifications and compile your own firmware to unlock full functionality. This has the advantage of being more customizable than any off the shelf keyboard, but it also will require you to do some troubleshooting to get it right.
