Finally got my tracking number, yay!
Maybe a dumb question, but it says that you need lead-free solder and flux in the build guide. I already have standard 60/40 lead solder with 2% flux in it, why wouldn't that work? Or is it just that you recommend lead-free solder?

It'll work just fine - I tweaked the guide to reflect that.

No reason why you couldn't use leaded solder. It's generally considered easier to work with.

Everyone has to recommend lead-free solder. It is a liability thing, because lead solder fumes ARE toxic. Use good solder (leaded) and ventilate to have an easier time soldering.

Actually the fumes from lead-free solder is worse. The lead itself doesn't affect the fumes as the temperatures used in soldering are too low to vaporize the lead.
Lead-free is better for the environment but worse for the solderer. At least as long as you remember to wash your hands. Lead is not part of a healthy diet. :)
