Has anyone tried clipping the two little plastic nubs on the bottom of the LCDs to make them sit flat? Massdrop comments seriously needs a search function.

So that is EXACTLY what i did when i built mine. I saw that the 2 bumps would cause the screen to flex and thought "thank cant be good" so i cut them off with a exacto knife and i have had no issue with the screens. I think that that should be added to build instructions as it removes all stress on the joint.

I just tried that on mine and while it made it a little better it didn't go away entirely. I also tried sanding down the edge of the acrylic with only slight improvement, if I had time to do more it might get better. For the time being I've just folded a few pieces on paper and placed them between the bottom layer of the case and the board where the lcd in soldiered. It's a less than ideal fix but it does seem to be working.
