"... the keyboard get stuck..." What does that mean, exactly?

One idea: try turning off the USB Boot option in the BIOS. Your computer may be confused and think the keyboard is bootable.

So: The Ergodox works on another PC. I assume that the "bad PC" works with another keyboard.
Could there be some kind of power-supply problem between the "bad" PC and the Ergodox? The "bad" PC may not want to power the Ergodox. Try plugging a *powered* usb hub into the "bad" PC, and plug the Ergodox into that powered hub, and re-try your tests.

That's a good suggestion from the PC side. But, would that prevent the Ergodox keyboard itself from functioning? hngr_goro mentioned that the keyboard is nonresponsive. The LCD won't respond. Does that depend on the behavior of the PC?

I suspect maybe the motherboard it self, but I will try upgrade my BIOS version or reset it. But if the result remain the same I will follow your solution, I will inform you as soon as possible.

I've had many occasions when a USB device prevented PCs from booting or even POSTing; printers, keyboards, gamepads, card readers... I don't have a solution, but it's not unheard of
