Hi! I've never soldered before. Which tip type/style and size is recommended for soldering the key switches? How much soldering wire do you need for all key switches (without LEDs)? Best regards

Switches are pretty easy. You don't have to worry about small components, so go with something with surface area for good heat transfer. I used the medium sized wedge that came with my iron, and that worked well.
I think I used about an ounce of solder including LEDs, so even a small spool should get you through with some left over.

The build guide has some info on soldering equipment. http://input.club/devices/infinity-ergodox/infinity-ergodox-build-guide Many people use cheap soldering irons without adjustable temps for soldering the switches on so don't feel like you need to spend a lot on a soldering iron.
