So the build guide says 63/37 solder, but the closest I can find is Sn62/Pb36/2Ag. Is the added silver a problem?
No, the silver shouldn't matter. It's just a different eutectic mixture.
In this description http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/162053482016?ssPageName=STRK:MESOX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1561.l2649 you will find all of the items used to build the ergodox (it's already been bought) but it might give yourself or anyone that may have not done a project like this an idea of what is required. I originally bought all of the items from online auctions too, most of the little items were around $1 each from Asia based sellers.
One thing that isn't in the description is a set of wire cutters I used a Hakko brand, because they are cheap, but as good as ones that cost nearly 10x. You'll only need these if you plan on doing LEDs throughout the keyboard.
