On top of other issues, I think one of my boards arrived with a short, or some issue with the traces. I installed all the keys and they worked fine. I then installed all of the LED's oSnly to discover that S1, S2, S8, S9, and 22 do not work. I replaced the LED and checked for any bad solder that might be creating a short. Still, they do not work. Then I accidentally crossed the LED pins on S1, and they all illuminate. What would be the root cause? Why would crossing S1 provide power to the other LED's?
The LED matrix is fairly complex, and shorting it certainly will have invalid effects. Clearing the short and resetting the board should work fine, however. If you're still having electrical issues, please post a high resolution shot of the solder side of the board.
