so is the full hand mod not the same as the one on the description page? it shows it being what looks like full acrylic on the order page, doesn't look as nice :/

That's a fair question.. I selected the one with the logo and the only thing there was the thumbprint of the one you're describing (no logo.) I think that's a generic image. The one on the description page has the logo so maybe there's the clear one and a frosted looking logo one?. EDIT: When I look closer this is the logo one... which means the aluminum back plate is no longer included? I'd definitely also like clarification on this. The logo is hardly noticeable this way.

I sure hope it has the aluminum base plate. I'm getting it so I have a stronger base to mount to a tent.

I wish there was more clarity on the full-hand addon.. the build guide doesn't even acknowledge it! Plus, the ones that arrived with my kit have only two screws, not four, and the acrylic is NOT THICK ENOUGH FOR THE SCREW POSTS! that means even when fully tightened, the wristrest layers wobble. Further, if you use the included rubber feet for the keyboard, there are no screws at the bottom of the wristrest, so when i rest my wrist on it, the goddamn keyboard tilts partially off the desk. can anyone else attest to the wristrests being.. functional?

(i will be following up with massdrop/IC support about that issue, as I have already had to engage them to replace another defective part of my kit. Appreciate the customer service, but I have been massively disappointed in the quality of this bundle.)

from what you said there i'm a bit more inclined to just save the 40 now, if you get any updates i'd love to hear about it

Update: one of the holes in the top layer of a wristrest is drilled so far off it cannot even be assembled. I /have/ to think this is just a bad (early?) batch. the customer support from MD and IC really has been fantastically responsive and very quick to issue a replacement pcb, i really do appreciate that. but i spent over $400CAD on this product, and I'm kind of shocked at the stuff that's come up
