International shipping is 37% of the price, this really kills the deal for me.

Ulf_AmadeusInstead of yet another "shipping spensive!" post - why not try to find someone in the US who will let you piggyback an order onto theirs and then ship it to you?

everyusernametakenAre you volunteering? If we really *needed* the product we'd probably do that.
Instead, we're just letting massdrop know one of the big reasons why we won't be buying this product. If they want more business, they should find a way to offer more realistic shipping prices. Most customers aren't going to be interested in jumping through hoops like you've mentioned -- we'd rather complain and leave it to massdrop to fix their shit.

I used shipito to get my oneplus one into Australia had it ~2 weeks after ordering. Your friend's friend is unreliable.

HaulienNot related to the infinity specifically, yet after reading your comment, I checked out shipito, looks pretty good in my opinion, yet there are many fake reviews online about shipito, both good and bad, how's your experience with them?

KaanDerailing threads is wonderful ;)
Thus far, I've shipped quite a few things through them (including a few things from Massdrop), and thus far they've been fast to process them, and I've yet to have a problem with em. Recommended if you need a forwarding service.
Just make sure you check postage costs going in. And of course shop around a bit. For example ShopMate to Australia can be a bit cheaper but I trust DHL (one of the carriers shipito provides) over AusPost more to warrant the slight increase in cost.
Also note shipito doesn't seem to have an option to repackage parcels into smaller boxes if possible on free accounts. Massdrop for example likes to ship items in boxes quite a bit larger which could increase cost (volumetric weight vs actual weight, whichever is higher gets charged more). usgobuy.com supposedly does this but I've never used them. I might try them next time (just ignore their comparison on this page: http://www.usgobuy.com/en/services-and-fees.html some of the things are out of date/lies about shipito (from using shipito, this is evident), and as such I can't really trust it's comparisons with other forwarders either)
TL;DR: my experience was good, just be sure to shop around.

HaulienI've had good experiences as well. Just make sure all your address / shipping info matches whatever is filed with your credit card company.
Or else you have to go through shipto's ridiculous verification process where you have to send in an insane amount of ID and evidence to prove your identity.
