Hey! I'm new(-ish) to mechanical keyboards. Which of the two layouts here would be compatible with the most keycaps? Some people are saying the "hacker" layout won't work with any other keycaps... I'm talking cherry by the way, if that matters. Also, one the switches are soldiered in place, is the backplate removable? Thanks!

ZolacolorThe standard layout is the easiest to get keycaps for. The hacker version uses a 6 unit spacebar which can be more difficult to find.
To remove the plate you'll have to desolder all of the swtiches.
