TigoleRespectfully: replace "UK manufacturer" with "Chinese manufacturer" as per the details from the drop. :-)

kingpingI was going off what I found online, such as from ingersollwatches.com:
"Who we are
Zeon is the licensed manufacturer and distributor of Ingersoll watches and is one of the largest watch manufacturers and distributors in the UK. We have sales turnover in excess of 2.5 million timepieces a year."
The watch might be manufactured in China, but the company that owns the brand is based in London, and thus the "UK manufacturer".
This is the same company that makes Braun watches, which were in a recent drop.

TigoleTigole Thanks for the reply. You are correct to a point, as seen on Wikipedia:
"The brand Ingersoll is currently owned by Zeon Watches, a British subsidiary of the company Herald Group."
Further Googling will reveal that the parent company, and hence the de facto owner of the Ingersoll brand, is based in China:
http://www.heraldgroup.com.hk/index.htm
Herald Group Ltd has offices based in Hong Kong, with manufacturing in both Hong Kong and Shanghai.
I generally try to avoid Chinese made products for ethical and political reasons fwiw...
Sincerely KP

Of course, imo it wouldnt make 'sense' to purchase a 300 - 490 dollar watch that was MIC.
