All - I purchased my watch in April of 2020. This week, the chrono hands stopped resetting to 12 o'clock. Drop offered to replace my watch (nice to see Drop support their products). Luckily, the Ingersoll support team provided the procedure to correct the issue. The procedure worked and I will be keeping my watch.
Please kindly follow below procedures to reset Chrono second hand to 12 o’clock position.
This procedure should be performed when the chronograph second hand does not return to the Zero position.
1. Pull the crown out to the 2nd Click Position.
2. Press the button "A" once to set the chronograph second hand to the Zero position.
3. Press the button "B" once to set the chronograph 1/20 second hand to the Zero position.
* The chronograph hands can be advanced rapidly by continuously pressing button "A" or "B".
4. Once the hands are set at Zero position, reset the time and return the crown to its normal position.

Well that's the damn point isn't it? Who gives a shit if you'd buy the watch IF it was "X- whatever-the-fuck"? You think MD or the vendor (who often isn't the manufacturer) of the watch is actually listening to the "I'd buy it if" crowd, who's whining about a watch that's a year old and that they owner is trying to dump on MD? Get over yourself--this shit is PAST TENSE!
All you can do now is buy it, dis it, or ignore it!
Which is why, when I dis a watch, I don't tell the manufacturer how to build a watch, I just give them shit for the fiasco they just made--in other words, the stuff they already know about--because their here, trying to recoup their losses!
Hey,I know how you like Ingersoll ,so I thought I would alert you to their Valentine day sale, full priced items only, code Valentine50 for 50% discount, and Geckota ,another of my VFM brands has a sale, use code Geckota10 for extra 10% even on sale items. Good luck buddy.
Jesus, watch actually looks nice but whats up with brands ruining watches by making a case above 40mm. 47mm is crazy that must be 52mm lug to lug and for quartz 15mm is thiccboii
BigTipperthe reason why it's here is it's 47mm. Stuff they can't sell retail end up here.
To be honest though, it's a good deal if you want that size watch. a watch this style should be small and classicly proportioned.
BigTipperYou can just wear this watch on a a thigh, and you can look down at your lap while driving like some of the WWII bomber pilots did.
Want to know how fast you are going? Well why go though the effort of getting an accurate speed measurement by looking at a speedometer on your dash if you can get a rough estimate of your speed with a chronograph, distance markers, and your tachymeter?
Ingersoll logo looks terribly out of place on the otherwise nice looking black dial. The standout option is the classic-looking white and gold dial. Being a quartz model, the lack of a hacking movement (my usual issue with the brand), is somewhat lessoned. Price is good, if you can hang with the case size.
Large watch just to accomodate a quartz movement, why? Shame the gold/white dial face I really do like, just 5mm too big; even if automatic the size would still stop me. So good luck to big guys, or big watch fans.
Yes , look at the above photo . The lugs curve down really fast so it wears smaller than it actually is , the same as my Seiko Tuna does and it works .
