wow, really? A full height crew sock is their most popular sock?
It boggles my mind that the full crew height is their most popular version. None of the hikers I know that wear Injinji socks use it.
I am with glad you (danny) mention that other versions will be coming in the future.
My personal Injinji favorites are the 'Run Midweight Mini Crew' and the 'Run Lightweight No-Show'.

abela @abela - that's right, this is Injinji's most popular selling *hiking* sock. As you pointed out, a lot of ULers (you and me included) prefer to wear their low cut *running* socks for hiking.

DannyMilksWhy is that? Doesn't a taller sock improve wicking because it ensures that moisture can be wicked beyond the boot/shoe?

PeterHGood question @PeterH. The taller sock definitely improves wicking and comfort if you're wearing a boot. However, in a shoe, you can probably get away with a low cut sock. I have tried no-show socks but found my ankles could get nicked up, so I prefer 1/4 length socks. I don't feel like I need more fabric higher on my leg to help wicking. The shorter socks are lighter, and with less fabric will potentially dry faster if you wash them.
