Ultraviolet lights are used in a variety of applications but, for me, it's more of a novelty item. The build quality seems to be fine. The beam, although bright enough, seems to have difficulty cycling through brightness levels. The tail cap has a momentary on function button (a big miss), which means that on is cap screwed tight and off is cap loosened (a terrible design). All in all, an OK purchase at $29.
