Invicta’s Pro Diver series has a classic look that works in any setting. Featuring a cyclops lens for the date window at 3 o’clock, luminous geometric markers, and a rotating count-up bezel, the Pro Diver ticks all the boxes a good watch should Read More
I bought this watch for about $70 a few months ago from Amazon. It's an automatic, screw down crown, and keeps time well. The power reserve is as about as good or better than a couple of high priced automatics I have in my collection. I have no complaints with it.

Real Friday the 13th scare prank with this drop lol
Since we're discussing sub-$100 watches here, and since some folks are still not happy with the price MD is offering, why not just go for the Quartz version for $49? Nothing wrong with a good, cheap quartz watch--they're accurate, you don't have to wind them, and you don't have to baby them. Seriously, if you're shopping for a watch in this price range to begin with, there's really no point in pretending to be a watch-snob!

Not all of the Pro Divers are automatics. They have a cheaper quartz version as well I believe. Having said that, it is typical to find the automatics for as low as $59 on sale on the interwebs.
I've had an identical-in-appearance Invicta model with the cheaper Japanese movement for a while - it's a nice-looking watch (I regularly get compliments on it), but it runs about 5-10 minutes fast per month, and the automatic mainspring won't store more than 26-30 hours of energy, so if you don't wear it regularly, it does run down.
That makes sense - back in the mid 90's, when I worked in computer retailing, companies like Packard Bell were infamous for making a dozen part numbers for every conceivable configuration, with each tied to a single retailer. It deliberately broke price-matching, and there were enough tiny differences so that no two were exactly alike.
The watch would be ok if it had the up-to-date better Miyota (Citizen) 9015 movement. This movement has the hacking feature (can stop the watch second hand and line it up at 12oclock and synchronize the time with the watch). This watch, with the better Seiko NH35A goes for about 100.00 at the Invictastores.com I would not purchase the Drop watch, worth considerably less. I am surprised this is even being offered!

I don't have anything against these watches or Invicta--we all started somewhere, right?
But I wish like hell Invicta made the 8926OB in the 42mm case size these models come in--with the Seiko movement, of course. That would be a really great watch!
