The thing that started it all. The INVYR Panda's. Quite scratchy and even has some minor burrs that have some sort of tactility. This is my second edit of my review about it. The housing is pretty tight when you put in a Halo stem. Once you invest your time in using these switches, they become the Holy Pandas that every enthusiast knows and feels.
INVYR Panda straight out of the box
Pros
Appearances.
Just a linear?
Cons
Scratchy when new.
Manufacturer burrs on the housing & stem.
Sub-par scratchy reds.
Worn INVYR Panda Housing w/ Halo stem
Pros
Smooth with Tribosys 3203, barely feel any scratchiness only on the leaf contacts.
With no film, it still sounds great due to its tight housing.
Sounds and feels like the Holy Panda.
Great tactility.
Cons
Spending a lot of time on pressing down these key switches to wear it down.
Rounded bump, probably just a preference for those who wanted a rounded or a sharp bump.
Good switches. For the sake of review I will only list the cons.
1.) Contacts are fairly loose, not ink bad but don't apply pressure to contacts without top housing on.
2.) The bottom housing appears to be a different material than the top housing. The top housing does look like POM.
3.) Some inconsistencies in quality from switch to switch. Out of 23 switches so far...One switch had some serious burs on the slider rails and another had a broken corner on the bottom housing. (I've seen this broken corner issue on inks too)(Edit: Up to about 35 switches now and 3 of them have had burs on one of the slider rails in same spot, looks like a mold problem.)None of these are deal breakers. Personally, I look forward to building my 110 using aqua zilent stems!

The second picture shows the burs on the slider rails.
Yeah it is too bad. I've found that a sharp flat head screw driver slid against the slider rail does remove the burs. This should of been caught before production began.
Though there is a silver lining. Since these pandas are generally going to be used a tactile switch, once the burs are removed the I can not tell a difference between a switch that had burs and one that does not. If these were linears I would be asking for my money back.
I've built about 90 switches now and the trouble switches is higher than 10%, it's closer to 20%. I hope this helps.
jhambone9190Many thanks. The old version was too big and the new one is too slim. But not too bad maybe, cause plates are also very different and we can use both. I cant wait to see mine!
I'm glad I ordered some of these and built them into lubed holy panda switches. They are a joy to type on- very clean typing feel with no rattle, no ping, no bounce, a medium and well rounded tactile bump, and the best possible bottom and top out feeling of any MX style switch I could imagine. The trade off is a loss in key-travel, not much but noticeable. I didn't have any issues with burrs on the housings on a 70 pc order.
Note; I had a few YOK pandas that I built up with the Halo True stem as well and honestly think those turned out slightly nicer than the Invyr pandas, I think the leaf in the YOK switch is a bit more tactile.
What do people do with all the stems and housings leftover from building holy pandas? I put most of mine together as a linear halo switch. I don't care much about linear switches but nice to have some around to play with I guess.
factory lube was suppose to be minimal, but it was similar to what you find in yok housings. Also received a couple with incomplete plastic near the plate mount clips.
no harsh bottom out as it seems they made more room for the center post of halo stem to travel, the tops were a bit soft so you have to be careful when opening or else risk loosening the tops. Leaf ping is still heavily present.
Signature sound from a HP is gone.
One good thing is the Pom housing is soft so these could be the smoothest pandas, making them good t1 alternatives

Updated thoughts:
After having spent some time with these housings (as Holy Pandas) and learning a lot more of what I really like in a switch, I can no longer say they are as amazing as I originally thought. With heavy modding they're great, but still not the best. I honestly have to say I prefer the sound and feel of my YOK Trash Panda housings with the Halo stems to these. Perhaps I'll find the perfect combo of lube+spring to make these housings better someday, but at this point I would say it's not worth it to buy these Invyr Pandas unfortunately.
The general feel of them is great, but is very rough and unrefined compared to alternative housings. This is not even taking into account the plastic spurs others have noted.
Side note not technically related to *this* exact product: I wish the pre-assembled Holy Pandas were a little cheaper. If Drop made them ~$0.80 apiece, they'd absolutely be worth it. But yeah, right now I'd say pick up some YOK housings and the Halo stems separately (for approximately the same cost as the pre-assembled Holy Pandas).
Original review:
This is a review of the combination of Invyr Panda housing and spring with Halo True stems:
I did not understand the hype around Holy Pandas, so I had to try them. And all I can say is... I get it now... No description of these switches will do them justice. Easily jumped up to my favorite switch (at least of the standard tactiles). The sound and feel are phenomenal. If you're a fan of tactile switches, you must at least try the Holy Panda.
As a note, I own and have used BOX Royals, Outemu Tao Clears (both Sky and Ice), YOK Purple Trash Pandas, V1 Zilents, and various other Brown/Heavy Brown-type tactiles. (Not trying to say I've "used them all" or anything, just giving a basis for my judgment.)
*Disclaimer:* I'll admit I have never tried any other Invyr Pandas than these new POM ones, but I don't particularly care, since I can only imagine any others are, at most, only marginally better or way more expensive.
Separate review of the Invyr Pandas by themselves:
As expected, the Pandas by themselves (linear) are nothing special. But I don't know why you would ever look at these as a real linear option...
Mediocre linears, but good tactiles with stem swap
I bought a set for making Holy Pandas. I found out that the housings are a bit inconsistent. Some switches have plastic residue on the rails which makes them feel scratchy. Guess you could try to work with a small sharp screwdriver to remove the residue plastic. Not sure if I will try it.
The switches are nothing special what comes to linears. With Halo True/Clear stems you can make pretty nice tactiles, and I guess that's is the reason many people will buy these.
Well, they've fixed the lube problem. However, why does my linear switch have a bump? Oh, because there are burrs on the slider rails. It isn't present on all of them, but enough that my bin rate is too low to even use these. AVOID, DO NOT BUY.
