Can I ask how high up the phone the gripping arms are? I'm concerned they might clamp right on to the volume control rocker on my moto G. It occupies space from 6.2cm - 8cm off the bottom edge.

isummersI have the previous version of this mount and I can tell you that you can keep the clamp off the volume control by moving the bottom support.

isummersI have the previous version and the pads hit the volume buttons on my Lumia Icon. The thickness of the pads allows you to cut out the small piece touching the volume rocker without compromising the grip. The same should be true of the new one.

RashkhHad the same problem with my Nexus 4 but I remembered that the bottom support for the phone on the mount is adjustable so I shifted it up enough to keep the clamp off the volume control.

isummersHave the problem with Moto X. Easy enough to bring volume back up after loading phone. Best vehicle grip I have used. Works on grained and pebbled surfaces.
