In one sense, this layout is actually pretty alright. As a strictly left shift user, the odd right shift wouldnt bug me. Having 1.25u arrow keys pretty much means you'll never get replacement caps, which is a shame, because it looks like a pretty cool little board.

I only use right shift and I have a board with a tiny right shift and I got used to it okay. I hate that I can't find caps, but a good DSA set would do the trick. I just don't want to drop $80-100 on a board worth $35 (Ajazz ak33)

OMG! I also use only the left shift! I've always been told this was weird and I'm so happy to hear I'm not the only one. It has never really affected my speed-typing, but I had recently been trying to force myself to use the right shift.

I often use the right shift as a FN key. If a keyboard has a split right shift, I'll generally use the 1u FN key as a Lock FN key and the Shift as a momentary FN key. Everyone types differently, and what works, works.
Finding ways to utilize a keyboard specifically to how you type is a huge part of the fun!
