Orca723I've had a Roomba 650 vacuum for 2+ years and I absolutely love it. It does its thing every day while I'm at work. It's now cleaned the same rooms of carpet & wood floors 600+ times and somehow it still manages to pull a shocking amount of dirt out of them every single day. And its daily brushing & vacuuming has made my 25 year old wall-to-wall carpet look and feel like new. Before Roomba it was compressed and squished and gross; now after two years of daily vacuuming it looks and feels better than new! It's honestly one of the most satisfying purchases I've ever made. Only drawback is I'm now reluctant to even visit homes that don't have a Roomba because I know just how much crap is buried in their carpets. ((:

Orca723I have a Roomba 880 and I do like it. It's great for picking up the surface dog fur my husky leave about and it saves our main vacuum's brush rollers from my gf's hair. The rollers it uses are easier to clean long hair out of than brushes tend be. There are some lower-priced alternatives that might be worth considering, but I am not displeased with my purchase of the 880. The main issue I have had with it is a battery charge level detection error that doesn't let the unit recharge all the way. It only requires a simple reset to correct the issue, but it's an issue nonetheless.

Orca723To follow-up my earlier reply -- I don't live in squalor or a pig sty or anything; I don't even have any pets. I just have a lot of carpeting in adjoining rooms. I'd vacuum a couple of times a month and have a cleaning lady come in occasionally. But after I got the Roomba -- for its first month I'd have to empty its dirt hopper every day without fail because it would be completely clogged full. Then I could get away with emptying it every 2-3 days. Now after two years of daily cleaning I can stretch it to 4-5 days if necessary. It ran for about 1:15 on a full charge when it was new, now it's down to about 45-minutes. It makes its way back to its charging dock about 90% of the time but once in a while it'll run out of juice too far away and I have to manually drop it on the dock. My friends have all bought one now and they're every bit as happy with it as I am. No I don't own stock, I just love a clean floor!

Orca723I have a Roomba 620 for years now and it's become a part of my permanent robot fleet! It gets the job done, and it does so very well.
As for the mops - I have the Braava 390t and in my experience its too limited / flawed: 1. You can basically clean 1 medium sized room before you have to clean the mop 2. It leaves "tire tracks" at times, which are basically just filth. **P.S we vacuum the room before running the mop.
Hope this helps.
