Hotrod911LMAO. the costco model is about 2-3 models below the 980. Not even remotely in the same realm as far as features go. That being said, the Costco one is a decent deal if you dont need the "best" cleaning power that the 980 offers. There are other features you ONLY get with the 980, that Costco doesnt offer. Also, the one at Costco is like $344.95 or something like that. If THIS one from MD has a warranty of some kind (which I sort of doubt it does) then this is a better deal. Once MD confirms there is an actual warranty thru iRobot, I will be in for 1, maybe 2.

whiteninjazx6rYou need to do your research. YES THEY DO HAVE IT NOW. It is the 985 (Costco variant) and I just picked it up last weekend - It was online for a day or so and got sold out but I am pretty sure it will be back. Google it....

Hotrod911smh...called Costco, they said they DID have that model for a very short time, in VERY low stock. The item was taken off the website due to a pricing error apparently. So...this is the best deal out there, currently and if you missed out on the mistake.

Hotrod911Yeah, i changed my reply. But also...how is this a better deal when Costco deleted it. They arent even selling it anymore. So who cares. Its either THIS deal, or wait till BF and hope the 900 series is on sale.

whiteninjazx6rNope not a mistake...iRobot is dropping its price for these and probably coming out with a new variant...Coscto online removes the product when it is out of stock....once they restock it will be back online....nevertheless most stores will have these....so Yes it is a better deal than one posted here on Massdrop which takes months to deliver anyway.....

Hotrod911Local Costco doesnt have em, and never did. Called the one 2 hrs from here, they never got them either, and their not in the system. I gave them the model number, costco item number, and the description. They said they have no idea if they will ever get such a thing. LOL. Yet, you claim this is STILL a better deal to the average buyer...yet its IMPOSSIBLE to get it. Nice. IF Costco gets them again...then yeah, its a slightly better deal. Great. Super helpful now, isnt it? Also, costco may disable the search function for an item if its OOS, but if you find a link to the product, it usually still shows it as OOS. I cant get this deal to pop up at all, so there is a good chance its just gone. Especially with multiple costcos showing as never having it, and not getting it soon, under that Item Number.

whiteninjazx6rSo my local Costco still has a few of these and from what I have been reading it should be back soon online as well....compared to waiting for Massdrop, i think its worth to wait it out...and it is a much better deal given it is NOT refurbished, costco's excellent return policy (just in case) and bundled with 2 year warranty if you purchase using Costco's visa card....

Always.DealsI agree...seems to be a price mistake. Costco doesnt buy "small quantities" ever. And it was only released to a small amount of stores. I have now called 7 Costcos in the Greater Seattle area and NONE of them ever got this or heard of the deal. But I will gamble and wait to find out. If not, BF is not too far out and my current Roomba is still going strong, albeit, missing some of the cool new features. lol. But hey, I can still talk to it through Google Assistant, so Im happy for now.

whiteninjazx6rNope, definitely not Lithium Ion included, they shipped it with a NiMH battery that is clearly not designed for the 900 series (check iRobot documentation). I contacted always.deals and got a non response straight up lie how it is somehow superior to the Lithium Ion battery. I can 100% assure you that they are not a Lithium battery in this drop.
