Seems way over priced. It is pretty cool but im very familiar with carbon steel pans and cast iron. As someone else mentioned you could just use a carbon steel pan with a small sheet tray or dutch oven lid or even foil for that matter. Id be interested if it were around 60-70.

ChavezaChaveza, thanks for your comment. Sheet trays, dutch oven lids or foils wouldn't work here. Usually, lids just prevent heat from escaping and maybe bounce back some of the heat back into the food. With IRONATE, lid has an active heating role, since it is designed to be heated up to high temperatures it then emits down to the pizza (or whatever else you are cooking.
I have posted some tips on how you can do this with 2 thick pans without buying IRONATE here in the comments. It certainly can be done, but it is fiddly and the results are not as consistent.
