Has anyone checked out/purchased a Xezo pen, and noticed, like I have, that they are exactly the same as Italix pens (apart from the nib)?

Stephen, I am not trying to prove you wrong. If anything your discovery shows how manufacturers can leverage modular design to bring us more variety, which to me is a good thing. I own the Deacon's Doodle and the identical Baoer, and I enjoy using both differently.
Funny thing, I just commented on another drop about a line of watches selling at $66 when they could be had for $10 or less. In that case I am totally against it, because the products look identical.

MrSharkbaitYeah, didn’t mean to sound argumentative there. The whole thing bothers me because I feel like the xezo pens are inferior to mr pen (if only because of the nib) and insanely overpriced. My main point was to warn people about that.

I am also waiting for an update. I don't want to cancel the order, but there hasn't been enough communication between Massdrop and those of us whose pens are delayed. All I got was a generic message saying if it was delayed by more than 30 days, they'd let us know.

I received my Prescriptor a recently and its a gorgeous pen. At the price, its more than a bargain. It puts other expensive pens to shame -Visconti comes to mind. Horribly inconstent nibs. Coming back to the Prescriptor, I noticed that the decorative gold band at the top of the section rotates freely. Is this how it's supposed to be or has something gone a bit wrong here? And if the latter, whats a quick and easy fix? Thank you.

Why are there fewer "NIB" options available than before?
No Oblique Left or Right foot Italic ?
On the Mr. Pen web page there are nineteen (19) nib options available
for the "Italix Churchman's Prescriptor Fountain Pen".
Earlier last year, when this pen was offered on Massdrop, there were many more nib options from which to choose.

Italic nibs are superb if you like wet nibs. It is a good writer out of the box and fit / finish is very good for the price range. Be aware that pen is on the large side and very heavy and I do not like to use it posted. Otherwise a great product I use a lot. For size refference it is in the Pelikan M800 range or a little bigger and most certanly much heavier (picture for the refference attached - left M800, right Italix). If you visit Mr. Pen store you can also buy additional handgrinded nibs for Italix pens.
