I love the size, appearance and weight of this pen, and the nib is in a class by itself for its size and being a two-tone. I purchased the EF which is imprinted on the nib as a F but the instructions say that EF nibs are not specifically marked - no issue there but confused me for a second. Two main things I look for are writing uniformity and reliability. The EF does have a slight up-stroke fade - so cursive letters such as S tend to be very thin on the up-stroke and thicker on the down. Slower writing helps to minimize this. Even when unused for a week I can open it and start writing.
