After having ordered the pen, I wasn't sure about the broad italic nib, until I used it. This is one of my favourite pens I have and the quality of every component making up the pen, and especially the nib, are excellent. This Italix pen and their Person's Essential cousin are equal in quality and performance to any of my more expensive pens (Karas Kustom's Ink, Pilot Custom 823 or even the Lamy 2000). This doesn't debase in any way these pens, but shows this is as a very affordable alternative.
