This was my first fountain pen, and it most certainly was a fantastic introduction! I got it with a medium nib which glides smoothly and provides a generous flow of ink. The nib really is great. The build quality is solid and I love the piano lacquer finish, very classy. It is a heavy pen, especially when posted, but I found it to be well balanced when left unposted. All in all, I am very happy with it.
