Received mine today. Well made and attractive, but to clarify on posting, the cap can neither be slipped on the barrel tightly nor screwed on the barrel when the pen is uncapped. You can stick it on the back of the barrel, where it rests loosely, rattles as you write, and can fall off if you invert the pen or move the pen too radically while holding it.
In short, this pen cannot be posted, so the description is accurate. The rest of the Italix pens do post, so this appears to be the exception. Again, a very nice pen, but if you are a poster, you may want to pass on this model.

Rosebud41Perhaps it's just your particular pen, but mine arrived today and I'm able to post the cap and have it snap into place. There is no rattling and it is tightly secured. Maybe you need to press a bit more and wait for the "click"?.

kpcorbinThanks much! I did indeed find that by pushing the barrel allll the way down in the cap, the cap would post with a loud click. Unique among most pens I own in that the cap posts deeply but also suddenly with no tension between barrel and interior of cap until the barrel hits bottom of cap. Anyway, pen posts securely now and is quite nice. Mine has the extra broad italic (1.75) and works flawlessly as all of Italix italic nibs seem to. (The cursive stub nibs are OK, but the Mr. Pen italics both have greater line variation and are smoother than the stubs in my experience, so I would advise most users to go with the italic nib that interests them rather than going with the stubs for this particular brand.)

Rosebud41Good to hear it! Yes, the click does sneak up on you, but it is there is good tactile feedback.
