I have quite a few Italix pens and love them all, with the exception of this one. The nib is far to wide, and I feel as if I’m writing with a paintbrush. I ordered a medium cursive nib, and, quite frankly, it’s anything but. It delivers far too much ink, and there is a visible bead of ink left behind. I contacted the company and received a derisive response from Mr. Ford. I can’t write with it and have chucked it into a drawer where it will likely never see the light of day again.

ravkesefHi - if it's any help I could modify your nib, as I have done many of mine, including two Italix pens. I reshape the end to whatever narrower width you prefer, then polish and polish until the nib writes smoothly without losing the contrast between the thick and thin strokes. I have modified lots of my pens this way and it is so satisfying to have just the right size Italic pen!
