Did anyone else order the Dark Brown Museum Calfskin/Dark brown Scotch Grain and got this? I am devastated after waiting this long. On a positive note, just like the previous drop for the Magnolia, I find J Fitzpatrick sizing is spot on for me.

OdiodiNow that I take a look at the picture listed on the drop, they didn't show a different color piece there. They were all single colors. I got the same colorway as you. Dark Brown Museum Calfskin/Dark brown Scotch Grain

Pacman2I don't like the look and it's certainly not what we signed up for. I've already notified customer service to request a return. Apart from the mistake with the colour these are beautiful shoes and I'm disappointed that I end up missing out. Justin, if you are still monitoring the comments, is there any chance of having these replaced with the original colour?

rbhan12Yes most likely the case. What's surprising is that nobody noticed or bothered to check. I'm still waiting for a response from customer support.

Pacman2Thanks for that Pacman. Just got an answer from customer support. I will be returning them for a refund, from Australia, making it an even more expensive mistake. If only someone had peeked inside the box before posting. With spring coming I was looking forward to wearing my new loafers out and about, sipping latte's and looking all dapper-like. I will be off now, to shed a few tears and fondly remember my brief encounter with a beautiful pair of JFitz loafers....
Odiodido not send back to MD? Please email me and I will sort it out directly and it will be quicker and less headache

TheShoeSnobSadly too late, I returned them two weeks ago. Would have preferred an exchange but MD didn't offer that option. I joined the drop on 11 April which means that I've waited six months and with the strengthening Australia dollar lost $30 in this transaction. A big disappointment to say the least.
OdiodiI can understand how you feel and I am sorry for this. I really do not know what happened at the factory as I submitted the order correctly and of course everyone there shies away from blame. But I am also not sure what took Massdrop a month to get your shoes to you though as we delivered them at the end of July/very beginning of August to their warehouse. What did MD say to you as a rectification? They simply refunded you?

TheShoeSnobThey covered return shipping and said I would receive a refund when the shoes arrived back at their warehouse. MD seems mostly concerned about mitigating responsibility so no actual apology or explanation of what went wrong.
