For what they are, very basic pens with no frills, they are almost perfect. I haven't used all the inks but black and brown work well in my pens without skipping at all. These can be used for newspaper crossword puzzles! If you lose one they aren't very expensive and they are so versatile I can't see any reason they wouldn't make an everyday pen.

Gave these as a gift and he says they are very nice; which means he really likes them!

3 pens, 3 inks, and 3 converter cartridges... Not bad.
So first thing's first: You're not going to get the instant satisfaction that inking a new fountain pen gives. That kinda sucks. Initially, I rinsed one out, then put in a Larmes De Cassis cartridge. It had issues starting. Squeeze the cartridge and I broke that... oops. Eventually, I made it blob out the front of the pen. wasn't impressed.
Cleaned it out, and put a Bleu Nuit in, not washing this pen out initially. It took a bit to get it started, but didn't have nearly the issues with getting it going that the first one had. The ink looks washed out for a bit, so I tossed in a Gris Nuage to the first pen. It created a small gradient between the colors (which I though I'd washed the first out...), and worked pretty decently.
Fast forward to a couple weeks later, and I didn't write with them for a bit. The ink cartridges are almost empty, but the pens are both writing nice. So I'm thinking instead of it being a "normal" fountain pen feed, it's more like a sponge, and it takes a bit of time to soak up ink so your writing experience is as nice as possible.
Yes, there's a lot of feedback from the nib. But that's to be expected of a rollerball style pen. Overall, I've had fairly good luck with them.

The term "garbage" gets thown around a lot. It sticks here.
5 stars for the ink, -5 stars for the pen.

works as advertised. some variable in the smoothness of the ball, but in the end smooths out. Have used "Bulletproof" Noodler and Parker "Quink" inks in these pens. Both inks are water resistant when dry. used with converter and not with cartridge.

Writes fine, albeit a little scratchy, but the plastic is cheap cheap cheap. I write a LOT at work and after changing the cartridge three times, the plastic is cracked so much on the threads that it won't stay screwed tight at ALL. I wouldn't ever dream of buying these again unless somehow getting the pens made the ink cheaper than MSRP.

scratchy, inconsistent, disappointment. why release these into marker if it is this bad?

A little scratchy. A light no-frills rollerball that write pretty well. Great colour inks!
The pens are very basic, no frills. The clear plastic construction is very light weight, though it might feel somewhat flimsy to some. The pen body itself is short so it is better to write with it posted; it doesn't post really securely, but it works most of the time. The writing feels a scratchy if you overdo the writing pressure. Otherwise, I do not find it scratchy most of the time on the papers and books I use it. It has become my daily work pen. Based on the other review though, there might have been quality control issues with some of the batches, so I probably got lucky here. The washer sitting in between 2 piece barrel of the pen falls out easily, so it should be watched for when refilling the pen - it is helpful at slowing down the formation of plastic cracks in the threads from happening if you have a bad habit of over-tightening when screwing pen barrels after refills. It accepts the inks I filled it with so far without problems. It should be possible to do an eye-dropper conversion for it. The inks that came bundle with it has a nice pleasant colour, and flows easily in this pen, though it feathers a little too much for my tastes.
