solid pen. the spinner can be good for when you are searching for an idea or just fidgeting. it is worth noting this is a heavy pen so i would not recommend this as an all day writer. but it does feel nice and might be just the thing for the store visits.
The so-called “spinner” is nothing more than a loose fitting metal band that can be manually rotated, but it has no bearings and shouldn’t be compared to a spinner since it stops immediately and does not coast. Buyer beware!
AutoPointerI was having trouble getting decent spins out of it too. I found it works better when you hold it sideways with both hands and really get some torque on it by pressing strongly with one of your thumbs.
The overall pen is ok. Wish it had a pocket clip and...
I wish the supplied ink cartridge wasn't such a piece of crap - I had to replace it immediately.
I also wish the "spinner" part of it had a ball bearings or something integrated so it wasn't just a slightly over-toleranced piece of knurled metal.
As most have said, its not really a spinner. You have to spin the brass piece very hard for it to make more than one rotation. The clicking is decent. The pen feels weird and isn't comfortable when writing. The original ink that came with it is already getting spotty when writing on anything but a brand new, untouched piece of paper. It didn't do that the first few days so maybe the ink is running out. I'm not impressed.
