Massdrop really crapped the bed with this one.

I don't get why they don't have the usual MOQ table that updates throughout the drop.
There's no mention in the title or body that this is from SP (I know it is).
They could have done a bit of spin in the description explaining the reason for price (quantity, licensing, molds, etc).
There's no explanation as to why you can only buy the full set, instead of it being able to purchase child sets.

That last point is one of the reasons I never join GMK drops. I have no need to buy a full set, and GMK seems to refuse to break it up into smaller ones. It's too bad that whoever was in charge of posting this drop seemed to half-assed it. It does a disservice to the person that created the set.

First SA sale since I have had my eyes on MD but sorry, that purple color is not for me. Also that price is crazy, even for SA caps. Disappointing.

That's even worse - full Maxkey sets only run about $110 at the most, and can be done much cheaper! (See: Leviathan)

KITTY: Just because something isn't applicable to me means that it must not be true. I think you might be the one who needs to chill. I didn't personally accuse you of anything. Notice that I said "you all are being played for fools," as in the fans of the anime who buy the set. Nobody can deny that the only way they can even attempt to justify that insane price for this set is because of its "connection" to that anime series. I'm sorry if you have been offended in some way.

Oof, that short shift is a bit too far off. You should message MD support about those ones. SP sets tend to have that kind of colour swirl throughout the plastic but I've never seen it that distinct.

Just got my set. The alpha color is amazing; the purple accents are also really nice. The mod blue is a little iffy. Some keycaps look smudged in natural light which is pretty disappointing given the price tag of this set and that the dark blue color in general looks good. [image] The 1.75u shift and 1.5u alts look the worst out of all the mods. I looked at some of my other SA sets and all of them looked a little scuffed in natural light which I think is normal, but none of them had noticeable color smudges. The blue novelties all looked fine except for one of the arrow keys. [image]
