Considered the fastest machine on the market, the Janome 1600P-QC is built to create up to 1,600 stitches per minute making this an ideal machine for quilters. Often mistaken for an industrial machine, the straight stitch only, mechanical 1600P is made from metal and designed for home use. This machine works well with light fabrics as well as thicker, heavier materials such as leather, suede, or canvas. The 1600P-QC comes with a large 8.5 x 5.5-inch workspace to the right of the needle, an easy side-loading bobbin, and an automatic thread cutter that cuts both the top and bobbin thread simply by pushing a button. The design also comes fitted with an ergonomic knee lift, which adjusts according to your preferences.
