The vendor informed us that the group's order was picked up and is on its way to our warehouse. Based on the tracking provided, the order is scheduled to arrive on 4/18.

Thanks again for joining this drop! We have submitted the group's order with the vendor for the Janome DC2014 Sewing Machine and they are working hard to prepare it for shipment.
As soon as the group's order is ready at the vendor's location, they will send the bulk shipment to our warehouse in New Jersey where our warehouse team will break it up into individual orders and ship them. The current estimated ship date from our warehouse is 4/20.

That is a lot of $$$ for a machine that does not have presser foot pressure adjustment. One could do better for less.

Quilt-DrMy response on the weight is just below user KJR10915 but it's 18.2 pounds. I will add that while it comes with a hard shell protective cover making it safe to transport, it's not the lightest machine I've felt.

When you buy a machine at a store, that is where you can go if it doesn't work, etc. But having never bought on like this one on line, do you have a warranty with it and where would you take it if it didn't work?

Quilt-DrHi @Quilt-Dr, We are an authorized Janome dealer so the warranty is definitely valid and the same as if you purchased at a store. You just need to make sure that you register your machine as soon as you receive it which is the same process if purchasing from a store. For any repairs under warranty you would take it to your local authorized Janome dealer and it would be fixed there.
