When you buy a machine at a store, that is where you can go if it doesn't work, etc. But having never bought on like this one on line, do you have a warranty with it and where would you take it if it didn't work?

We are an authorized Janome dealer so the warranty is definitely valid and the same as if you purchased at a store. You just need to make sure that you register your machine as soon as you receive it which is the same process if purchasing from a store. For any repairs under warranty you would take it to your local authorized Janome dealer and it would be fixed there.
