I purchased this machine for my 12 yr old grandson. He is in cub Scouts n has done some sewing on his mother’s Bernina which she thought was s little over powering for him. He will be using at my house for a month b4 he takes it home with him. He’s so excited to have his own machine. I did test drive it n love it. I recently purchased the 4120 QDC for my travel machine.

I bought this machine for classes and to leave at my daughter's home for piecing quilt tops while babysitting. Being used to a workhorse Bernina, I was a little concerned about how substantial it would be - but it stitches very well and does not seem to be sensitive to different threads or changes in fabrics. I haven't tried any decorative stitches yet.....
