Will other Janome attachments, such as the Walking Foot from my 6500 machine fit this machine?

LindatI would call your Janome dealer and ask. You would have to know if this model and your 6500 were both the same shank size, low or high. I tried to find out if the 8100 was high shank the other day....Janome does not tell you that on their site, ..best to ask the dealer. Many attachments are for either high or low shank machines, whereas the snap on feet can fit either, if the machines are the same mm; ie 7mm versus the new machines 9mm. For the walking foot you do need shank size. Hope this helps.
