For those who own a pair of these, how long did the blubuds last you?

FrozonBeen using mine daily for at least a year now. Had to replace one pair but that was solely due to a cat chewing them up. The second pair stays in the case when I'm not using it. I actually bought mine when they were $200 and I still don't even regret it. After purchasing some Comply Premium Foam Eartips from Amazon these things sound pretty amazing for the price point.

FrozonHi, the longest I've kept a pair of these going for is about 2 years, they stopped working after I accidentally put them in the washing machine though. Before this, I most often wore them in the gym and running (road and trail). I run rain or shine and it rains quite a bit where I live so I can vouch for the quality. I got a replacement pair from JayBirds within a few weeks, only to have them stolen at the gym. So here I am trying to score a deal.
They are great buds, fantastic for trail running, rocking climbing, pretty much anything athletic, I even wear these while cooking.
FYI, the call quality on these is amazing! I have a cheapo $50 BT pair and it's call quality is crap.

Midnight_RunnerThanks for the information!
Good to know, when you're a participant in the drop. I've been trying to get an affordable hold of these for years, but since South African stores apply such ridiculous mark up I thought I'll never come right. Here I am though.
Did JayBird replace the IEMs that you washed, or did you mean that you bought a replacement from them?

Midnight_RunnerSure.... the longest you've had a pair keep going was 2 years... but what was the shortest life they had? How many have you had, and how long do they usually last?

GratianHey there, sorry for the late reply. They actually replaced them since they were still under warranty. They even did me a huge solid and instead of mailing the broken buds in, they allowed me to show them before and after shots of the buds with the cord cut. Honestly it's because of this awesome customer service that I was really willing to spend another $100+ on their buds. I already have a pair of 'bragi-dash' buds on the way but ETA isn't till September. Anyways, hope that helps. I just got an update my buds were delivered so I'm going for a run tonight! Yahoo!!!!

Beach_GuyNot sure why you're skeptical, YMMV depending, I mean mass production of a device generally assumes 3%-7% manufacturing defect, of course this is subject to dependency on product/market). Over the course of 5years I had 3 pairs. First pair died on me after 1.5years (replaced at Microsoft Store - btw gr8CS), second was the aforementioned washing machine pair, and the third was stolen, i guess about 6months after the replacement. From all this you can infir about 2years, but ultimately I think it comes down to purpose and wear/tear.
Regardless, I can't wait to get these again. My cheapo buds are driving me insane.
