So if these go out within the warranty window, we would need to contact MD, who will then coordinate with the manufacturer to initiate a warranty claim?
And then I'm assuming it is up to the manufacturer if they want to fulfill the warranty or not. The 'lifetime sweatproof warranty' is one of the biggest selling points on these, it would be nice to know 100% that it will be honored, if it is needed. Any way we could get official word from JayBird on this?
As stated in our FAQ (linked above), if your product becomes defective within the manufacturer's warranty period, then contact our Support and they would be more than happy to coordinate a product exchange. We will 100% honor our warranty, regardless of what the manufacture chooses to do. I'm not an employee there, so I simply can't speak on their behalf.
