These shirts are good looking and fit well, but the fabric is synthetic 100% microfiber and not cotton as stated. There is a tiny label on the shirt's collar.
There is no way in hell the shirts I ordered, even though they are labelled as such, are XXXL. The fabric won't even come together in front. They might be what I am used to calling "XL". Back to buying shirts at Kohl's, because this isn't happening again. I plan on wearing these shirts, but it is going to be awhile.
are the sizes crazy huge or is it just me?
I am somewhere between Large and XL in most button down shirts. Med and Large on T shirts. 42-44 on coats and jackets. (I'm broad shouldered and barrel chested, but not terribly huge for a 6 foot tall guy).
These sizes seem to start at around my size and go up from there? Which defies logic, as I am above average in height and weight.
rellort13Indeed, the sizing is a pain- especially for this type of shirt that doesn't allow for give and take. Based on the link you posted I should be going for S, but even then the chest seems to measure rather tight
I wish Massdrop had a better resolution or an up close shot of the patterns. So if anyone else wants a closer look at the patterns, take a look at Jordan Jasper's site here.
tmartykan35-inch sleeves are the most common length for a dress shirt. The "sleeve length" is confusingly measured from the spine to the wrist, so it adds several inches to how long the actual sleeve is.
A 44-inch chest for a small IS a bit roomy, but not completely unreasonable. It would fit someone with a 40-inch chest quite well.
