When 19-year-old Joseph Bulova left Europe for America and founded his watch company in 1875, little did he know what impact the establishment would have over the next century and a half. The Joseph Bulova collection is a tribute to the company’s pioneering founder. Featured here are three classic “Commodore” styles, each a part of a limited-edition run of just 350 pieces. Sized at a period-correct 34 millimeters wide, this slim dress watch has vintage Arabic numerals, plus a date window in place of the 3 o’clock numeral. Available in three different looks, the Commodore is powered by an SW200 Sellita automatic movement with a 38-hour power reserve. The caseback, engraved with the founder’s own signature, delivers a peek at the movement in action. Rounding out the watch is a box sapphire crystal and alligator-grain leather strap.
