It performs exactly as you would expect and feels pretty strong. It seems to be an average market price, but I guess most stuff in this hobby is a little expensive.
Regular tray should be sold in sets of two. There's not enough space for a standard TKL GMK set (not including a numpad) in just one tray.
For regular Cherry/OEM keysets, the fit is very snug so the keys won't move around, but it's also hard to move the keys from side to side.
The securing clips are a little wonky and need to be perfectly moved to the side to be able to open and close the tray.
I bought one of the max size for an SA set as most products on the market simply can't handle the taller profiles.
I wasn't at all disappointed in the case. It does what it's supposed to.
One max is comfortably storing the alphas, TKL, numpad, novelty, specialties, spacebars, and ISO kit. There's certainly some room left over too.
The fit of the keys is not perfect, but it's pretty damn close. Nothing really that requires complaint. If you're a perfectionist and are looking for perfect tolerances, this is off by a smidge. But you know, it closes, and it looks really sharp, and it keeps them out of bags and for that purpose i think it's excellent.
The price is a little more than I think it should be, just because there doesn't seem to be much to it. And it feels a tad brittle, like if you dropped it it might not go so well, but that's just the nature of the polycarb.
If the max ever some back in stock i'll buy some more as it's currently your best bet with the taller profiles
I like the fact they are transparent, stackable and the right size to efficiently store lots of keycaps. The latches are handy and hold the keycaps perfectly. Will be back for more as I get my more caps.
Really great to store and organize your keycaps. They clear cover helps with finding which keycaps are where. The rows a slightly tight on XDA profiles but fit them.
As my collection of keycaps has built up, storing them has become a bit of a challenge. The various form factors and often poor quality storage provided by GMK in particular led me to needing a unified storage system. The large trays can hold a base kit and novelties or extras. For large keycap sets however, you'll need to use 1.5 of these trays. They're just plastic and could certainly be designed for better ergonomics, but these trays are still pretty dope
