Feels incredibly cheap - I found mine to have an intermittant connection. The shape and size is convenient though. Unless the size and shape are super necessary I’d say skip it!

hi guys, I need help before this gets shipped I own a Microsoft surface pro 4 tablet, in my tablet the usb jack is on the right side and the power jack is slightly below, I watched a youtube video where the surface tablet usb port is on the left side. I have tried to visualize the actual size and if it will not get in the way of the power port, can't figure it out I do have a miscrosoft surface 4 pro verified by belarc , can someone help , right above the usb port there is the video port, I've looked pictures all over and although I want the adapter, I am very confused please help, I ordered the 4 in 1 adapter thanks

exlavalso i received the adapter for the surface 4 pro. in addition to the tablet i have the protector case and the keyboard.
well this adapter DOES NOT SIT WELL WITH THE PROTECTOR CASE. A USB EXTENSION CABLE OR A MALE/FEMALE SMALL CONNECTOR IS NEEDED SO THAT THE HEIGHT RISES ABOVE THE PROTECTOR CASE
IT IS TOO BAD THAT THE USB JACK ITSELF WAS NOT MADE JUST 1/6 OF AN INCH TALLER .
MOST SURFACE 4 PRO USERS HAVE THE PROTECTOR AND KEYBOARD, ALTHOUGH I LOVE THE CHANCE TO ADD EXTRA DRIVE WITH A MICROSD CARD, IT IS ANNOYING TO HAVE TO ALWAYS ADD SOMETHING TO MAKE IT FIT. THIS OMISSION DOWNGRADES THE STARS BY 4/5 barely leaving this adapter the minimum .
to use it you have three choices 1) remove the protector AND keyboard 2) cutout a piece of the protector case in order to let the adapter sit better 3) buy an adapter

I got scammed on this, these things suck. Rebranded garbage.
Read the Amazon reviews on these things, at least for the Surface Pro models they absolutely suck. I ordered a few for our department, and there are numerous issues:
1) the NIC is 10/100 only, not Gigabit. Apparently this is 1997 or something. 2) You cannot use both USB ports simultaneously. With two USB devices connected, invariably one or both will disconnect from the system.

They still make Apple 30pin adapters??? Man there can't be many people that still use a device that uses one of those.
CokemanI think it's for certain Samsung tablets. They look the same but aren't compatible. I had that port on my old Galaxy Note 10.1 (from 2012-2013)

Anybody facing issues with the 4-in-1 adapter? I'm getting a prompt that the device is not recognised on Windows 10.

Can I plug this in a normal desktop computer?

Redingtonprobably no unless you use a usb extension cable because of the moulding on the back to make it flush against the tablet when you plug it in

@elimelendez looks like you might have the Samsung tablet adapters mixed up. When i select the Galaxy S2 tablet adapter the old 30 pin type adapter picture comes up. Galaxy tab S2 has a micro USB port.
