I like the fact that if you put it in dedicated charging mode all the usb 3 ports output 2A so you can charge more than 1 iDevice at a time. That sounds super handy in a household that has 2 iPhones and 2 iPads. Im assuming the Ethernet adapter works similarly to their other devices and allows the computer to get gigabit to the computer via the USB port.

TiemmothiSeing as the power supply is 5A, that's your limit. So that's 2 2A charging ports, and 1 1A

dumle29It's 5A at 12 volts (60 watts), which would convert to 12A at 5 volts (USB charging voltage), minus a small amount lost in the conversion process, so no problem driving 3 ports at 2.1A/5V.

vinocatAh, I missed that the powersupply was 12v :) Assuming a switch mode buck converter, and a decent one, let's say 85% efficiency, that's 51w so that's just over 10A at 5V, that's pretty danm good :)
