First off, this is a pretty sketchily named device. "USB 8-port hub" would imply connecting 8 USB devices. By my count there's 6 data/charge, 1 charge, and the 8th must either be the "data cable" that connects it to the computer (which doesn't count as a USB device, that's upstream, for god's sake) or the ethernet port. Why not make it 10-port and count both, plus the port for the power adapter?
Still, it might useful for charging my small army of electronic devices. Anybody know how the "up to 2.1A" data/charging ports work? If every port is in use, does it drop down to a smaller charging rate for each port? Or does it stick it out at 2.1 for every port, plus the 2.4 for the charging port?
