Couldn't get the displayport to work with the 27" Apple Cinema Display. Hopefully this is a defective unit and not a technical constraint. In contact with massdrop support now to resolve. Feels solid but the adapter doesn't make contact with the surface that the laptop is resting on. If I get a replacement I'll probably put small feet or something on the bottom to make sure it's supported and not torquing the USB-C port. Id have preferred a design that uses a flexible cable to attach to the computer. Still, if you want to charge, use an apple display and plug in USB, there's not much else out there right now.
