Save $1.60 here and wait a few weeks to get it. And don't even know if it will reach lowest price.
Another way to look at it is pay $1.60 more and get it by the time the drop even closes.

"HDMI input" < o rly?
@EricPA
The ChockDOCK utilizes the stock charger for whatever laptop you own(Pass through Power delivery). The power supply that comes with the chock dock is to provide sufficient power to the actual docking station and its connected peripherals.
For future references we are working on a solution for laptops that have the USB-C port on the right side. In the meantime, a simple USB-C extension would suffice and work perfectly fine.

the usb c connection is on the wrong side for a large portion of laptops -_- guess i wouldn't be able to take advantage of the angled design for a stand

You do know the Mac Book Pro has USB-Type C on both sides. Mine has two on right, two on left (15" model).

What watts does it provide? My MacBook Pro 15 (late 2016) requires 87 watts.

EricPAI believe it just passes through whatever USB type-C power adapter is plugged into it but I'm not completely certain so you may want to do some research of your own.

EricPAI'd be interested in knowing this, too. I've got a little Satechi Slim Aluminum USB-C multi-port thing, and it steals about 10 watts from the pass-through to power itself. Or, at least, that's what my laptop reports when I start up with it plugged in. Plugging the charger in straight seems to deliver the full power.
