Doubleshot is king for keycaps for me, and Jukebox is one of my favorite keysets. I do think that the cubic profile doesn't do this set justice. I wish the texture on these were a little heavier but they are still well made aside from that
Super nice caps. The profile is similar to the Drop ALT/CTRL caps but the corners and edges are sharper. They are super crisp and I really like them.
The drawback is that there are very few caps for the "asdf" row. You have just enough for a standard keyboard - the keys between Caps Lock and Enter. Then you have 2 extra caps lock keys and that's it. The only other keys that fit the profile of this row are the "456" numpad keys. I have an ALT and a Vortex Race 3 which have one extra 1U key to the right of Enter. I had to use the "5" numpad key to fill this position and it's pretty lame. One or two more generic 1U keys in this profile would have helped.
On the other hand, there is a HUGE amount of extra keys for the bottom row. I'm counting at least 22 extra keys including 3 extra Ctrl, 3 extra Alt, 3 extra Win, and at least 11 extra generic keys.
Basically a really nice set but really lopsided in terms of what's available per row.
I was very impressed with these caps. Despite a low price, the end product was thick and satisfying in a pretty tall profile that was well sculpted. However, cubic does have some drawbacks. Their budget friendly position makes it exceedingly difficult to get interesting or new colorways, and the support for even wkl or hhkb layouts takes a lot of looking or just lucky timing. If tai-hao itself was a bit more receptive to community projects or design, and opened up some slots for group buys, I think cubic profile could be a great alternative to the constant wave of expensive gmk products. Once again, these caps do not feel cheap. They have a clean smooth texture and a nice sound due to their relative tallness and thick borders. I definitely recommend them if they cover your layouts in colors you like.
Typical TaiHao stuff, though this one comes in a nice box. The profile is nice and the color scheme is fantastic. You really can't go wrong with this at this price point.
Pretty good quality in a classic colorway. Still not sure that I like the profile, but the quality of the keycaps is actually a bit better than normal Tai-Hao in my opinion.
They were so inexpensive it's hard to complain about anything - maybe the only thing for me is they're just a bit thinner than what I'm used to, but it's not a big deal. I got the green alphas to make it a Christmas-ish set, still on because they're quirky and cool. Overall, happy with the purchase.
