I would so absolutely want one, because I want to get into sewing. But from what I've been hearing on reviews, I might want to try a different machine.

jacefacexxHi @jacefacexx,
It's definitely good to do your homework before buying a sewing machine. I think it's good that SewMuchMoore posted the link to the Amazon reviews because it's a quick link for people to read all the reviews; positive and negative. I think it's important to note that 71% of the reviews were either 4 or 5 stars. Juki is a very well known and revered sewing machine brand and one that is highly coveted by quilters. Additionally and maybe most important, Massdrop stands by the products we sell. If for some reason the machine doesn't work you can return it. We would never expect anyone to keep something that's broken.
The above may seem like I'm trying to push this machine and please know that is not the case. I just wanted to highlight some of the reasons why this is on our site. After doing your research you may find this is not the machine for you. The good thing about that though is when you go to purchase whatever machine you decide on, you'll feel good about it because you know you got the machine you wanted and is right for you.
Good luck on your research!

Mari13Hi @Mari13, We will accept returns for items that are damaged in transit or arrive and are not functioning. Part of the way we can keep costs down and pass on the savings to our members is by not having inventory in a warehouse. That makes returns for reasons like I changed my mind or I no longer like it hard because we can't put things back on the shelf, so to speak. Hope that makes sense!
